Saisetsu Hayashi
Calligrapher

 

A calligrapher based in Gifu Prefecture, Japan, Hayashi has also designed CD covers for Japanese singers and artists. He began practicing calligraphy in elementary school and was gradually captivated by the beauty of kanji characters. He then moved to another calligraphy school to study calligraphy in earnest and obtained a master’s license. He has also provided works upon the request from a Harvard University professor.
