The Lantern (Mid)
Handcrafted lanterns by Lantern-YA. These lanterns use Mino Washi paper, a type of Japanese paper made using a technique designated as an Important Intangible Cultural Property in Mino City, Gifu Prefecture. Lanterns were called “Akari” (lights) in old Japan and functioned as room lamps.

・Please handle all Japanese handicrafts with care, as they are handmade.
・Lamps made with Japanese paper, etc. are coated, but they are made of paper, so they may tear if they come into contact with sharp objects. Please refrain from using them in humid places such as bathrooms and kitchens.
