The Lantern Small (Kaede)
The Kaede design is inspired by the Japanese maple tree, which turns brilliant red in the fall. The lantern features two styles: a red maple leaf for autumn and a green leaf for summer. This lantern is made with Mino Washi, a type of Japanese paper made in Mino City, Gifu Prefecture, which is designated as an Important Intangible Cultural Property.
